All PPS (Polyphenylene Sulphide) countersunk or ‘Flathead screws featured on our website comply with DIN 965 specification.
Countersunk screws are manufactured with a standard Phillips cross head drive type (ranging from drive #1 to #3), this allows for more than adequate torque to meet specification.
The standard head angle for all our countersunk screws is 90 Degrees.
Why use PPS?
PPS screws are reinforced with 40% glass fibre, this enables tensile strengths that are similar to our PEEK GF30 (30% glass-fibre reinforced) range, however with a much larger range of sizes and with reduced cost.
PPS has characteristics that are positioned perfectly between our RENY and PEEK range.
